As soon as our Canberra team receive your mattress order, they process, pack and courier your new hybrid mattress. Over the last 20 years, we’ve built a strong network of expeditious couriers criss-crossing Australia and the Australian Capital Territory. Our efficiency married to their speed means your mattress will be on your doorstep in no time at all.
Mattress orders in Canberra will be delivered in 7-10 business days. In areas our couriers have trouble reaching, delivery may take up to 21 days. We make every effort to bring that time down as much as possible, but we guarantee that no matter where you need your mattress sent, it’ll be delivered for free. Please note these delivery times do not include weekends or public holidays.
Your mattress will arrive compressed, vacuum sealed, sealed again in a tough plastic sleeve and finally packed into a heavy duty box. If that sounds like a lot to handle, rest assured that the mattress box comes equipped with wheels and a handle for easy manoeuvrability. No matter how bumpy the road gets, your mattress will be delivered in pristine condition. Accessories such as the pro base, pillow, sheets, protector and dog bed may be shipped separately and arrive later than the mattress delivery.

How soon will my mattress be delivered? 
We endeavour to deliver our mattress to our clients as quickly as possible. However, depending on location accessibility and the capabilities of our transport network, we cannot offer all locations similar delivery times.

Delivery is to your front door, our deliverers do not authorise their staff to enter your premises and cannot take your product upstairs due to OH&S rules.

OUR MATTRESS NEXT-DAY DELIVERY SERVICE
In Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Gold Coast we can offer next day delivery for mattress orders placed before 2pm. Take note: we’re not talking about ‘ship next day’ – we look to deliver next day! (Excluding weekends and public holidays). Most other locations will be delivered within 3 - 7 business days, while the most remote areas may take up to 14 business days – and it’s still free! Accessories such as the pro base, pillow, sheets, protector and dog bed may be shipped separately and arrive later than the mattress delivery.

What impacts mattress delivery time?
Australia is a big country and doesn’t have a heavily developed regional rail network for freight, nor the large number of high population centres that Europe or the US have. Often deliveries will be shipped via regional warehouses and dispatched to the final address by a different vehicle or specialist carrier for that location (just like many airline ‘hub and spoke’ operations).
Although the majority of our deliveries are next day, in some locations the final delivery runs don’t happen every day because of the distances and sparse population, they might only be once or twice a week.
Packaged for Delivery
The compression and packaging technology we use ensures that the mattress is safely wrapped and cocooned for its often very lengthy journey.
Each mattress is vacuum sealed and rolled before being put in a tough plastic sleeve for further protection.
All this is then secured in a tough heavy duty outer carton with its own wheels and handle to help with manoeuvring.
The lengthy transport process can often be harsh on boxes but as bad as the ‘battle scars’ can sometimes seem the mattress is sheltered from all of this and ready for action after unpacking.

How easy is it to unpack my Sleep Republic mattress?
Your Welcome Pack will come with simple instructions on opening your mattress, and even include a specialised tool to aid in cutting plastic without damaging the mattress fabric. The mattress only needs to be left to expand for a few hours. You can sleep on it the very first night you have it.
Does my Sleep Republic mattress really need a protector?
We urge you to cover your mattress in a washable mattress protector. This will help avoid accidental spills from staining the mattress fabric itself, as well as protect sensitive sleepers from allergens. Avoid cleaning spills with harsh solvents and chemicals. It is best to dab at stains with a damp cloth. Allow it to dry fully before making your bed up again.
Has the Sleep Republic mattress been tested for harmful chemicals?
Our cashmere fabrics have been tested in the US by CertiPUR-US®, and held to extraordinary emissions and durability standards. Our gel visco memory foam has been CSIRO tested here in Australia and found free of harmful chemical substances.
What should I do with my old mattress?
What we can do is connect you with mattresses removers in your area who can help you out. Unfortunately, we can’t remove your old mattresses ourselves.
What are the warranties for the mattress, pillow and protectors?
Your mattress comes with a 12 year warranty against faulty workmanship or materials. We also give warranties on our accessories: our pillow has a 3 year warranty and our sheets and protectors have a 12 month warranty.
