Everyone is different. You may find you prefer a softer mattress or perhaps a hybrid mattress just isn’t for you. We understand that everyone’s preferences vary, and what works for some may not work for others. If, after giving it a fair 14-day trial, you find that the mattress is not suitable for you, we respect your choice. You do not need to provide any explanations; simply let us know within the trial period, and we will arrange for the return process to begin.

We offer a 150 night free trial for mattresses and pillows. This guarantee allows you to trial your mattress or pillow completely risk-free. If for some reason, you don’t gel with your new sleeping solution, we’ll arrange for it to be collected * and donated to charity or recycled.

Our goal is to make the mattress return process stress-free and straightforward for you. To ensure your peace of mind, we offer a 150-night free trial for mattresses and pillows. This extended guarantee gives you the opportunity to experience our products in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to make an informed decision about your sleep preferences. However, we kindly request that you give it at least two weeks to allow your body to adjust before initiating a return.

Please note: The trial is limited to one of each product that Sleep Republic offers and is limited to one trial; per customer, per order, per household/delivery address.

Online Return Process.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your Sleep Republic mattress or pillow, you can return it within 150 days of purchase for a full refund. Here's how it works:

1. Give it some time
We recommend trying your mattress or pillow for at least 14 days to allow your body to adjust before deciding to return it.

2. Check your location

Our charity and recycling partners offer free collection in many areas, however, not all locations are serviced. To find out if your address is serviced, email us at info@sleeprepublic.com.au before purchasing or requesting a return

3. Return options:

  • If you're within a collection area:
    We’ll arrange for the item to be collected by one of our partners free of charge, and once collected, we’ll issue your full refund. Please note, that our charity partner, Salvation Army requires ample clear parking access to be in close proximity to your property. For example, the trucks can take up to 4 parking spaces in order to collect; if they cannot park safely, they may decline the collection; this is outside of our control.

  • If you're outside the collection area:
    You will need to arrange the donation of your item to a local registered charity or mattress recycler.
    Once this has been done, email us proof of donation or drop-off, and we’ll process your full refund.


    4. Refund : You will be issued to you approximately 7-days after collection.

Here's what we do

One

We fully understand and respect your decision. If, after thoroughly testing the mattress for 14 days, you determine that it is not the right fit for you, please complete our return form within the 150 Night Trial period.

Two

We do ask that you provide us with a photo confirming the condition of the mattress. Mattresses must be undamaged and unmarked to allow us to donate them to our charity partners – no one wants a dirty mattress!

Three

We do ask you to return, at our cost, any promotional items like sheets or protectors included with the original sale.

Four

We do ask for the mattress to be downstairs at the front door ready for pick up at the date of collection and that you are present at time of collection.

Five

We do give you a full refund within 7 business days of picking up your mattress.

Six

We do donate returned mattresses to charity or recycle them. We never resell used ones!

Here’s what we don’t do

One

We don’t put you through the third degree or get you to flip or rotate the mattress before accepting a return request.

Two

We don’t try to wriggle out of offering you a refund through product swaps or gimmicky stuff, which may or may not be effective.

Three

We don’t charge you a pick up fee for the the return.

We don’t exclude in the fine print mattresses that have been discounted. Our 150 Night Trial is offered across the range regardless of the price you pay.
