How does Sleep Republic deliver mattresses?
We endeavour to deliver our mattress to our clients as quickly as possible. However, depending on location accessibility and the capabilities of our transport network, we cannot offer all locations similar delivery times.

Delivery is to your front door, our deliverers do not authorise their staff to enter your premises and cannot take your product upstairs due to OH&S rules.
Due to peak season and high demand for online goods, we are experiencing longer than usual shipping delays across our delivery network. Our team are doing their best to work with all our delivery partners to get your order to you as quick as possible.
OUR MATTRESS NEXT-DAY DELIVERY SERVICE
In Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Gold Coast we can offer next day delivery for mattress orders placed before 2pm. Take note: we’re not talking about ‘ship next day’ – we look to deliver next day! (Excluding weekends and public holidays). Most other locations will be delivered within 3 - 7 business days, while the most remote areas may take up to 14 business days. Please see below for current applicable delivery lead times.
Also, please note that accessories such as the pro base, pillow, sheets, protector, and dog bed may be shipped separately and arrive later than the mattress delivery.

What impacts mattress delivery time?
Australia is a big country and doesn’t have a heavily developed regional rail network for freight, nor the large number of high population centres that Europe or the US have. Often deliveries will be shipped via regional warehouses and dispatched to the final address by a different vehicle or specialist carrier for that location (just like many airline ‘hub and spoke’ operations).
Although the majority of our deliveries are next day, in some locations the final delivery runs don’t happen every day because of the distances and sparse population, they might only be once or twice a week.
Packaged for Delivery
The compression and packaging technology we use ensures that the mattress is safely wrapped and cocooned for its often very lengthy journey.
Each mattress is vacuum sealed and rolled before being put in a tough plastic sleeve for further protection.
All this is then secured in a tough heavy duty outer carton with its own wheels and handle to help with manoeuvring.
The lengthy transport process can often be harsh on boxes but as bad as the ‘battle scars’ can sometimes seem the mattress is sheltered from all of this and ready for action after unpacking.

Is my Sleep Republic mattress easy to unpack?
The good news is that your Sleep Republic mattress is extremely easy to unpack. Your Welcome Pack contains a simple cutting tool that’ll slice through the tight plastic vacuum sleeve without nicking the mattress. Then, you simply unroll it onto your bed base. The better news is that your mattress only needs a few hours to expand and aerate before it’s ready to be slept on — you could easily enjoy it the night it’s delivered.
What happens if I stain a Sleep Republic mattress?
The Sleep Republic mattress is extremely easy to care for, so long as you are conscientious and protective of it. For that reason, it’s best to always use a mattress protector. When the inevitable accident occurs, a cloth dampened with water will do the trick. Don’t get too fancy, as harsh solvents and chemicals can damage the mattress fabric.
How well tested is the Sleep Republic mattress?
Sleep Republic has been well recognised by the Australian government and by international non-profits for our safety and material choices. Our cashmere fabric has been tested by CSIRO, the Australian government’s scientific research organisation, and declared clear from harmful chemicals. Our visco memory foam has been thoroughly tested by CertiPUR-US® in the US, who have certified it free from chemicals harmful to humans or the environment. You can find more details online.
What do I do with my old mattress?
While we don’t have the capabilities to remove old mattresses ourselves, we do have a wide-ranging roster of mattress removal contacts. If you’d like, we’d be happy to put you in touch with your nearest removalist.
How long is the Sleep Republic warranty?
On the exceedingly slim chance that faulty workmanship or materials have sullied your mattress, we offer a 12 year warranty. Since it takes less time for faults to become apparent for them, pillows come with a 3 year warranty and protectors come with a 12 month warranty.
