By the time you finalise your order, our Darwin team is already on their feet. Your order is loaded up with one of our reliable couriers and is out on the road as soon as possible. We work with a range of transport specialists who criss-cross Australia and the Northern Territory. There’s basically nowhere they can’t deliver.
Mattress orders in Darwin can expect to be delivered within 14 business days. This is also true for most major areas and rural in the Northern Territory. Whether you need your mattress delivered to Darwin or Kulgera, or anywhere in between, it’ll always be delivered for free. We hope you’ll understand that these delivery estimates do not include weekends and public holidays.
Your mattress will arrive compressed, vacuum sealed and packed into a heavy duty standing box (with wheels and a handle, of course — safety first.) We take every precaution to protect your new mattress, and the thousands of High Definition springs within. Please note that depending on logistics, accessories such as the pro base, pillow, sheets, protector and dog bed may be shipped separately and arrive later than the mattress delivery.

What is the estimated mattress delivery time?
We endeavour to deliver our mattress to our clients as quickly as possible. However, depending on location accessibility and the capabilities of our transport network, we cannot offer all locations similar delivery times.

Delivery is to your front door, our deliverers do not authorise their staff to enter your premises and cannot take your product upstairs due to OH&S rules.

OUR MATTRESS NEXT-DAY DELIVERY SERVICE
In Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Gold Coast we can offer next day delivery for mattress orders placed before 2pm. Take note: we’re not talking about ‘ship next day’ – we look to deliver next day! (Excluding weekends and public holidays). Most other locations will be delivered within 3 - 7 business days, while the most remote areas may take up to 14 business days. Please see below for current applicable delivery lead times.

What impacts mattress delivery time?
Australia is a big country and doesn’t have a heavily developed regional rail network for freight, nor the large number of high population centres that Europe or the US have. Often deliveries will be shipped via regional warehouses and dispatched to the final address by a different vehicle or specialist carrier for that location (just like many airline ‘hub and spoke’ operations).
Although the majority of our deliveries are next day, in some locations the final delivery runs don’t happen every day because of the distances and sparse population, they might only be once or twice a week.
Packaged for Delivery
The compression and packaging technology we use ensures that the mattress is safely wrapped and cocooned for its often very lengthy journey.
Each mattress is vacuum sealed and rolled before being put in a tough plastic sleeve for further protection.
All this is then secured in a tough heavy duty outer carton with its own wheels and handle to help with manoeuvring.
The lengthy transport process can often be harsh on boxes but as bad as the ‘battle scars’ can sometimes seem the mattress is sheltered from all of this and ready for action after unpacking.

Are there any harmful chemicals in the Sleep Republic mattress?
Our gel-infused memory foam have the international approval of the US based CertiPUR-US®, and our cashmere fabrics have CSIRO accreditation from right here in Australia. Our mattresses have been thoroughly tested for harmful chemicals, and been held to the highest durability standards.
How do I clean up spills and accidents on my mattress?
We strongly recommend using a washable mattress protector to avoid dust and other allergens, as well as damaging stains and spills. Accidents can be resolved using a damp cloth: gently wipe at the stains till they lift. Avoid using harsh chemicals on the mattress. Allow the mattress to fully dry before replacing the protector.
Can Sleep Republic remove and recycle old mattresses?
Unfortunately, we cannot. However, we can provide you with the contact details for mattress recyclers that service your area.
What warranty information do I need to know?
All mattresses come with a 12 year warranty, pillows with a 3 year warranty and protectors with a 12 month warranty. These warranties protect you against faulty workmanship or faults in the materials. Your Welcome Pack will include further details, including information on the claims process.
